Invoicing modalities: Invoicing will be by e-Mail to the address specified in the records for that domain. It is the responsibility of the Registrant to give an update on the right e-mail address.
The purpose of these fees is to cover the costs of operating and maintaining the infrastructure (sustainability) and facilitation of all activities and events related to Internet issues. Click here for the current price list. Billing cycle:All domains will be charged annually on a pre-paid basis on the anniversary of their original registration date. Reminders for renewal will be sent at least 30 days before the anniversary date and the domain shall be suspended on the anniversary date if it has not been paid for. After another 30 days of non-payment, the domain will be de-registered and made available to anyone else who would like to register it.
Registrars' benefits: Registrars do provide services in a package form that include domain registration, DNS hosting and Web designing / hosting. tzNIC does not interfere with what the Registrars charge the Registrant for DNS hosting and web designing /hosting. As for domain registration, the registration fee is taken by tzNIC while 20% of the maintenance or renewal fee is retained by Registrar as their commission. The 20% is included in the published price list (fee) and therefore Registrars should not charge more than the published figures. Therefore, Registrants/domain owners should pay not more the published figures regardless from which Registrar they are registering or renewing the domain.
