tzNIC plans to expand its Second Level Domain (SLD) space from 7 to 12 in year 2012. This follows the 28^th PAC meeting resolution/approval for 5 new SLDs namely .hotel.tz; .mobi.tz; .tv.tz; .info.tz and .me.tz.  The existing SLDs are .go.tz; .ac.tz; .mil.tz; .co.tz; .or.tz; .ne.tz and .sc.tz. The expansion is expected to provide competition, innovation and more choices to registrants/consumers.
