In its effort to provide world class registry services, tzNIC (.tz registry) is attending the Advanced Registry Operations Course (AROC) in Bamako, Mali. The training has been jointly developed by ICANN, ISOC and NSRC for the purpose of enhancing the management of Internet infrastructure and services in Africa. Other African registries attending the AROC - English track are .ke (Kenya), .so (Somalia), .sd (Sudan), .gh (Ghana), .ng (Nigeria), .bw (Botswana) and .mw (Malawi). There is also a parallel running AROC - French track for the French speaking African registries.
